I don't know about the rest of the world, but this has to be one of the best sitcoms of the 20th century. I have been an avid watcher and enthusiast since I was a kid when I didn't get half of the suggestive punchlines and subject matters. However, over time I find myself cracking up more and more whenever it's on the tube. I talk about men with my crew and I LOVE CHEESECAKE!!! Call me old, who cares! The show is amazing!Sunday, May 31, 2009

Movie Time With Eye D. vs Mel O.

- Insightful much: I knew of the illuminati but not too much so I gained a few pounds of insight
- Pinches of Wit in regard to Tom Hanks' role as a "symbologist" and the overall quest to locate the 4 elements
- Not long/boring and inundated with pointless material!
* However I'm thinking that I must read the book because my friend who accompanied me said it was way better
I say check it out!

Digital Archeological Digs: Discovery # 3
I am supposed to be typing up these two essays for my Social Action class but I'll get back to my regularly scheduled program in a bit.Now... I'm on this all expense paid Roy Ayers excursion at the moment and I don't think I wanna return for quite awhile. As my mind gazes at his jazzy pictures created with deep xylophone strokes, I came across one Dope song out of many.
Who would have thought that the M*A*S*H theme could undergo a soulful jazz lift? This track is off the album, Change Up The Groove (1974). "Suicide is Painless" is still my ish, but this track is sooo SCRUMPTIOUS!
Give it a listen!

Mel. O's Thoughts and Views

2. The background music and plot would even make Lifetime cringe
3. Further proves my point of how Beyonce CANNOT act... and they thinkin of casting her as Angela Davis?!
Get THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!
PS- Me and my buddy knew the movie would suck so don't get it twisted that we had high hopes for it! If anything, it was more of a comedy than a suspense

Clean Off Your Racial Magnifying Glass!
The presence of this issue is beyond ahead of its time and place... You don't even see this discussion on television today... but then again "sitcoms" of this generation are in the form of stank/scripted/stupid "reality tv"
Enjoy!
