I was listening to Dr. Joy Browne last week, and she was talking about the new phenomenon in regard to STD awareness. When a person finds out they have an STD and/or exposed a partner they had in the past 6 months to one, they can inform them by means of the internet.
Bloggers, I present to you In Spot. If simply being sexually responsible in the first place, getting tested regularly, or letting your partner know in person or by phone fails... SEND THEM AN E-CARD LIKE THESE!!!
Ok first of all, anyone who sends someone an e-card on such a sensitive and serious matter as sexual health obviously is just as careless when they were sleeping around. Yes this may be a better option than not telling them at all, but e-mails are already impersonal as is. And, a STD e-card is just triflin!
People please handle your sexual business responsibly, get tested, and even if you are infected and may have exposed someone to it as well...
USE IN SPOT AS A LAST RESORT BUT DEFINITELY DO REMAIN SILENT!
5 word droppings:
hey.. but you gotta think about it, it might increase the communication. america has the most education on the subject and also the most cases. gotta do something lol
yea true i hear you but it's still so grimey. i see the potential but it's still triflin to send or receive an e-card with a message like that. what's next? a texting version of it? lol
Whoever create dthis should get kicked in the groin!
I think this hsould be illegal.
If you were man or woman enough to screw said person then you should man or woman enough to call or tell the person they may be infected. Man up! Woman up!
Wow... I'm speechless....
I FIND THESE HUMOROUS AND TRIFLING AT THE SAME TIME, HOWEVER THEY CULD HELP SAVE A PERSON'S LIFE. SEEING THAT TELLING A PERSON IN PERSON IS A RISKY MOVE...I DONT THINK ITS STILL A GOOD IDEA TO ADDRESS THIS ONLINE.
